The Eraserheads was so Bitin ATBP....
Last saturday was a dream come true since i was able to attend the concert of Eraserheads which molded me to like alternative, pop rock or whatever you might call it. I couldn't care less if i attended the concert alone. Heck, i was there to enjoy the concert and not to mingle and socialize.
There i was, the adrenaline rush started to kick in...The sleepiness and hunger that i felt on my way to the concert venue was gone. Ely (the front man) started the show with Alapaap, everyone was singing along, jumping and clapping. The whole venue went crazy and so am i... it nearly brought me to tears since memories flashed back one after the other. From the day when Ely's sister Elyra was handing out posters of her brother's first album (Ultramangneticpop) until i bought the last album Carbon Stereoxide. Yes, Ely's sister was my classmate back then until we graduated elementary...hahaha, i think during our graduation nobody paid attention to the ceremony itself everyone was anticipating to get a picture side by side with Ely and have his autograph. Yeah, i had that moment and i kept that picture in one of my albums.
Then of, to high school that's how i really appreciated the whole Eraserheads thing- y until they disbanded back in 2002. Everyone was disappointed since hell, they were LEGENDS!!! i tell yah!!! Legends in the Pinoy Rock scene. So, going back one song after the other i was singing my lungs out, clapping. I need not to refresh all there songs since i have memorized all of them in my heart. Inspirations and aspirations to be just like them. Total geniuses, i said to myself when i was there. After 13 to 14 songs, they had the interval for 20 minutes and i decided to buy a drink but it was more than 20 minutes and the second half still hasn't started yet. Then, there it was the announcement made by Lally that they won't be able to continue the concert because Ely had an attack again. Everyone went quiet, still in shock... it took me an hour before the whole thing sinked in. I thought it was joke, and no it was not.
I don't care about the money i spent to get the ticket. What I'm wishing for right now is that I hope that there would be another reunion concert since it was BITIN. Crossing my fingers that there would be another one.... hehehe....

Saw my ex-fling there, she saw me talked and i can't believe that she's back from CDO. hehehe, she looks so "refreshed" since it was a long time since the last time i saw her. It's good to know that your doing ok and everything's fine now and congratulations!
saw some old "friends" of mine... hope you enjoyed the concert.
